Sexyy Red could be hinting at a collaboration with Drake on his forthcoming ninth studio album, Iceman.
The “Get It Sexyy” rapper livestreamed with BenDaDonnn and DDG from a yacht on Monday (May 4), where she mentioned Drizzy’s hometown in Canada.
Around the one-hour, 21-minute mark of the video below, Sexyy shared that she would be traveling to Toronto and France in the next week. The timing coincides with the release of Iceman on May 15.
“Don’t worry about what I’m going for,” the St. Louis native joked.
Sexyy and Drizzy have linked on songs “Rich Baby Daddy” which featured SZA, and “U My Everything,” which sampled the viral “BBL Drizzy” cut by Metro Boomin.
Earlier this year, Sexyy shared her belief that Drake will pass his musical torch to her. Months before, the rapper tweeted that she would never join the Drake hate train after he was repeatedly dissed on songs by Kendrick Lamar.
One of those tracks, the wildly popular “Not Like Us,” spent 26 weeks atop Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart plus three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100—and won five Grammys in 2025.
Drake has sought legal repercussions from Universal Music Group for defamation and artificially inflating streams, although the latter suit was dismissed last week.
