Sexyy Red wants to know why a certain conspiracy theory about her continues to persist.
In a series of posts shared on X, formerly Twitter, the 27-year-old rapper shared another response to the conspiracy theory that she’s secretly a CIA operative. “Why tf yal keep sayin I work wit da CIA what dat post to mean??” she tweeted, following it up minutes later with, “Yal did yal taxes already?”
This isn’t the first time the rapper has felt compelled to respond to the theory, which blew up after a parody account, named Daily Noud after the popular news aggregate account Daily Loud, jokingly shared a doctored screenshot that showed leaked government documents. In the clearly fake document, it was alleged that Sexyy Red had been working undercover for the CIA as part of operation “Agent Bow Bow,” which was described as “highly destabilizing and culturally critical.”
Sexyy Red retweeted the post and joked, "Damn they got me shattt 🥷🏾.”
The conspiracy theory spread before the parody account shared the doctored government documents. She directly responded to a post in 2024 when someone said she gave her “CIA vibes” because her “entire brand is degeneracy.” Sexyy Red, who has often faced criticism for her sexually explicit music, simply responded, “Fawk u btch.”
More recently, Sexyy Red went viral after she appeared to shoot her shot at Pooh Shiesty, who shared a picture of his physique in a post shared on his Instagram Stories. Red directly commented on the picture, making it clear how she felt by sharing an emoji of a lip being bitten and a tongue out emoji.
