Sexyy Red has once again responded to the ridiculous conspiracy theory that she's a CIA operative.
Last week, a post from the parody account Daily Noud on X claimed that "leaked government documents" revealed that the rapper has been working with the CIA since 2018. The account, a parody of the news aggregator Daily Loud, included a doctored screenshot of an article that said she was working undercover for an operation named "Agent Bow Bow," which was described as "highly destabilizing and culturally critical."
Sexyy Red retweeted the post and joked, "Damn they got me shattt 🥷🏾."
This isn't the first time the St. Louis rapper has responded to the conspiracy theory. As reported by Hot 97 in June, 2024, Sexyy Red replied to a tweet that said her "entire brand is degeneracy," which gave them "CIA vibes." The tweet has since been deleted, but Sexyy Red's response is still up.
"Fawk u btch," she wrote in a simple reply.
Sexyy Red has often faced criticism for her sexually explicit lyrics and image, which she has rightfully brushed off on many occasions. In December, she spoke with XXL Magazine and said that she and other women in hip-hop face harsher criticism for sexually-charged material.
"I think y’all some haters," Sexyy said of the critics. "I think y’all don’t want y’all bitch to shine because y’all insecure and it ain’t a problem when y’all got y’all chest out, or y’all little tiny dick print showing and all that with your drawls sagging, your stinky as out, doo-doo stain. It’s not a problem when y’all do it, but y’all stealing our style. It’s wrong when we do it?"
