Drake is in album mode.
Over the weekend, the 6 God was seen apparently shooting a music video for his forthcoming album, Iceman. Fans captured clips of the rapper riding around the streets of Toronto on a flatbed truck also carrying large blocks of ice.
For the shoot, Drizzy wore a Miu Miu 2021 quilted jacket, custom VAVA boots, and a Chrome Hearts hat.
Police cars followed his truck as a crew filmed the visual, and fans yelled from the street.
This wasn’t Drake’s only Iceman promo. Last month, an installation designed to tease the album’s release date went viral in his hometown.
The idea was for the date to be revealed when a large ice sculpture melted, but the mystery was ultimately short-lived, as content creator Kishka uncovered the information ahead of schedule.
Iceman is Drake’s first solo album since 2023’s For All the Dogs. Just months after he released the chart-topping album, Kendrick Lamar unleashed his verse on Future and Metro Boomin's “Like That,” hard launching the beef between K.Dot and Drake.
The battle endured for months. Sunday marked the two-year anniversary of Drake’s Dot diss track, “Family Matters,” which prompted Lamar to return with “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us.”
While Drake had the last word with “The Heart Part 6,” the court of public opinion largely ruled Lamar the winner.
Iceman arrives on May 15.
