Lil Baby seems to have pledged his allegiance to Drake.
On Sunday (May 3), the “Drip Too Hard” rapper took to Instagram to post a handful of selfies, alongside the caption, “I Already Picked My Side.”
One could assume that his choice of words relates to the door in the background of the photo, covered with pictures of Drizzy.
One could also assume that Lil Baby is referring to the 6 God’s infamous beef with Kendrick Lamar in 2024. Unfortunately for Drake fans, public opinion indicated that Kung Fu Kenny won the feud, particularly with “Not Like Us,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Euphoria,” which peaked at No. 3.
Drake ended the beef with “The Heart Part 6,” a reference to Dot’s “The Heart” series and a continuation of his critically acclaimed 2022 song “The Heart Part 5.”
Drake is now gearing up for the release of his ninth album, Iceman, slated to arrive on May 15. The new solo album is his first since 2023’s For All the Dogs, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. All 23 album tracks also debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, with seven of them appearing in the top 10.
