Lexie Brown addressed online speculation head-on, making it clear she has no connection to recent chatter surrounding Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion's breakup.
The WNBA guard posted a statement to her Instagram Story distancing herself from speculation that tied her to alleged infidelity involving the NBA star.
"I've seen what's being said online, and I want to be clear, none of it is true, and I have no involvement in this situation," Brown wrote.
Brown also emphasized her focus elsewhere. "This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me, and my focus is fully on that," she added, signaling her attention is on basketball rather than off-court narratives.
Brown's message comes after Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion split, after the rapper accused Thompson of infidelity. "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me," Megan said in a statement following news of the breakup.
Among those showing support for Megan was Angel Reese, who shared a message praising the rapper.
"It's the way you show up even while carrying so much," Reese wrote. "That's what makes you THAT girl." She added, "You always have a little sister riding for you at dawn. I love you, sister."
