Angel Reese is showing public support for Megan Thee Stallion after the rapper took the stage on Broadway just hours after confirming her split from Klay Thompson.

Over the weekend, Megan appeared in Moulin Rouge! and delivered her performance despite the emotional weight of the moment. Videos circulating online showed the Houston artist briefly pausing as she fought back tears near the end of the show, before finishing to a loud ovation from the crowd.

Reese, who has built a close bond with Megan in recent years, responded to the moment with a heartfelt message on social media.

"It's the way you show up even while carrying so much," Reese wrote. "That's what makes you THAT girl."

She added, "You always have a little sister riding for you at dawn. I love you, sister."

Megan confirmed the breakup shortly before the performance, stating through a rep that she had decided to end the relationship due to a breakdown in trust.

"Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship," the statement read. "When those values are compromised, there's no real path forward."

While Megan didn't go into full detail publicly, the announcement followed a social media post that appeared to reference infidelity.

"Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be ‘monogamous?’ Megan wrote. "Bitch I need a REAL break after this one. Bye yall."

The connection between Megan and Reese isn't new. The WNBA star has hung with Megan at major events and even joined her onstage.
