Drake’s ambitious three-albums-at-once strategy has paid off handily, giving the current Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts dominator plenty of cause for celebration.
As previously reported, Drizzy now has a whopping career total of 15 No. 1 albums and 14 No. 1 songs to his name, breaking records previously held by Jay-Z and Michael Jackson in the process. Notably, in the latest Billboard 200 update, Drake’s triad of simultaneously released new albums—Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour—are holding down the top three spots on the chart.
In an Instagram Stories update on Tuesday (May 26), Drake shared a photo of himself surrounded by celebratory balloons, with a massive smile on his face. Emblazoned on the floor before him, as seen below, were rundowns of his amassed collections of chart-topping albums and songs, including the addictive, Lykke Li-interpolating “Janice STFU,” currently the No. 1 song in the country.
“Neck broke from carrying the chain, back broke from carrying the game, records broken carry on my name, carry on carry on,” reads the text included at the bottom of the structure. This statement, fittingly, is the exact same one Drake included in a recent grid post featuring an Iceman-themed depiction of the late King of Pop.
In light of Drake adding yet another chart-topper to his catalog with “Janice STFU,” Complex has taken on the task of ranking all of his No. 1 hits.
