Drake has once again made history with his new trilogy of albums.
Drizzy’s three new records—Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti—didn’t just make history on the Billboard 200 album chart, but also on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, too. As expected, “Janice STFU” debuted at No. 1 on this week’s Hot 100, which means that Drizzy has now surpassed Michael Jackson for the most No. 1 hits by a solo male artist. It’s his 14th overall No. 1 track, so he now ties Rihanna and Taylor Swift for the third-most No. 1s after Mariah Carey with 19 and the Beatles with 20.
Additionally, 42 of the 43 songs across the three projects have charted within the Hot 100, with nine of them landing in the top ten. The only song that didn’t chart is “Where’s Your Stuff Interlude,” and that was ineligible due to its short length.
It’s a record-setting figure for The Boy. Drake previously held the record for the most concurrent entries on the Hot 100 in a single week upon releasing his album Scorpion in 2018, when scored 27 songs on the chart. But that record was later beaten by Morgan Wallen, who he charted 36 songs simultaneously on the release of his album One Thing at a Time in 2023.
Drake already held the record for the most career Hot 100 entries, but thanks to the new albums, he’s now extended the record from 362 to 402. This makes him the first artist in the chart’s history to earn over 400 total Hot 100 tracks. Taylor Swift is the artist who comes even close to comparing, with 276 tracks hitting the Hot 100 throughout her career.
