Bad Bunny brought the house down, and surprised viewers with Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Pedro Pascal, Ricky Martin and Karol G as guests during the Super Bowl LX halftime performance.

During his set, the six-time Grammy winner took over Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, where the Seattle Seahawks faced off against the New England Patriots on Sunday (Feb. 8). Benito was announced as performer last September. This isn’t his first time taking the historic stage, as he was a guest artist during Jennifer Lopez and Shakira’s Super Bowl LIV halftime show in 2020.

During the casita segment of the halftime show, while Benito performed songs like “EoO,” "NUEVAYoL" and “Party,” he was joined by his “I Like It” collaborator Cardi B, along with Pascal and Karol G.

Also popping up with a Latin rendition of “Die With a Smile” was Lady Gaga, while Martin later serenaded the Super Bowl LX crowd with a verse from Bad Bunny’s" “LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAII.” Below, we explore why each guest was possibly there.

Cardi B

The Grammy winner played coy about being a part of the halftime show in an interview with AP News, but said she was “proud” of Bad Bunny.

Pedro Pascal

Pascal was guest host of a Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special in 2023, which Bad Bunny was a musical guest.

Karol G

Karol G featured Benito on her 2017 single “Ahora me llama.”

Jessica Alba

While Pascal plays the new Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic in the MCU’s Fantastic Four, Alba played Sue Storm in the franchise’s 2000s iteration.

Young Miko

Miko was a collaborator on Bad Bunny’s 2023 song “FINA.”

Lady Gaga

One week before the Super Bowl, Gaga greeted Bad Bunny during the 2026 Grammys, although she initially startled him before he recognized who she was.

Ricky Martin

Martin and Benito previously collaborated on 2020 song “Cántalo.”

What has Bad Bunny done this year ahead of Super Bowl LX?

We’re nearly two months in 2025 and Bad Bunny is having a whirlwind year already. Last week, the Latin pop artist won three Grammys, including the coveted Album of the Year for DTMF. The win was also historic, considering that DTMF is the first fully Spanish-language album to have won in the category.

During his Apple Music Halftime Show press conference on Thursday (Feb. 5), Bad Bunny called his sixth studio album one of the most “special projects” he’s released.

“It brought me to here. I wasn’t looking for the Album of the Year at the Grammys,” Benito said. “I wasn’t looking for a performance at the Super Bowl halftime show. I just was looking [to] connect with my roots, connect with my people more than ever, connect with myself, connect with my history [and] with my culture.”
