Bad Bunny may have accidentally fueled engagement rumors after he was spotted wearing a ring at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
A source familiar with the situation told TMZ that the Puerto Rican superstar is not engaged despite online sleuthing after a ring was spotted on that finger during the award show on Sunday (Feb. 1).
The ring, which fueled theories that he had quietly proposed to a mystery partner, was actually a gift from Cartier and not an engagement ring, a family heirloom, or tied to any romantic milestone.
The source added that the 31-year-old simply chose to wear it to the Grammys because bold jewelry fits his style and that he is not dating anyone at the moment.
During the ceremony, Bad Bunny used his acceptance speech for Best Música Urbana Album to condemn the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) amid increased crackdowns on immigrants and recent killings of protesters and U.S. citizens by federal agents.
“Before I say thanks to God, I'm gonna say, ICE out,” he said. “We're not savages, we're not animals, we're not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans."
He added, “It's tough not to hate on these days. Sometimes we get contaminados [contaminated]. The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love."
Bad Bunny, who now has six Grammys and 17 Latin Grammy Awards, and won Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, is set to perform at the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on Sunday (Feb. 8)
