Fans are still picking out all the subtle details in Bad Bunny’s loving tribute to all things Puerto Rico and Latino during his electrifying Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.

Among the many great details in the incredible set design, which was created by Harriet Cuddeford and the production company Yellow Studio, there were a few that really caught people’s attention during the wedding that went down during the performance. A source told NBC Sports reporter Rohan Nadkarni that the wedding was, in fact, real.

During the wedding celebrations onstage, a kid was seen sleeping across multiple chairs while the party raged around him. Without missing a beat, Benito woke the kid up and resumed performing. The child sleeping across the chairs was a relatable moment for anyone who’s been to a Latino family gathering, but people from all cultures have highlighted how seen they felt by the cute moment.

The memorable performance was a celebration of Bad Bunny’s roots, but also a reminder that cultural diversity is one of America’s greatest strengths. At the end of his performance, the Puerto Rican artist held up a football that read, “Together, we are America.” The billboard at the studio also read, “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”

There was an appearance by a young boy, who many mistakenly believed was Liam Conejo Ramos, the five-year-old who was abducted by ICE agents in Minneapolis earlier this month. The young boy was actually child actor Lincoln Fox. In the moment, a family watched Bad Bunny’s 2026 Grammy Awards acceptance speech, which was interrupted by the young boy receiving Benito’s real Grammy.

Bad Bunny also used the performance as an opportunity to pay tribute to his late uncle with a No. 64 jersey, the same number that his uncle wore when he played football.
