Bad Bunny more than made the moment count during his stint as the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show headliner on Sunday (Feb. 8).
During the much-anticipated performance, the Album of the Year winner at the 2026 Grammys held a customized football emblazoned with a decidedly timely message. The football in question, as seen below, read, “Together, we are America.” He went on to say “God bless America” and name countries throughout North America and South America.
After displaying the football, Bad Bunny fittingly spiked it to the ground.
This key Super Bowl moment pairs nicely with Bad Bunny’s 2026 Grammys much-discussed acceptance speech when taking home the trophy for Best Música Urbana Album. During his speech, as previously reported, he called for ICE agents to exit their aggressive presences across the country, all while reminding Americans of a larger truth.
“Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say, ICE out,” he said at the time. “We’re not savages, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans.”
Green Day also performed on Sunday, again reviving their 2004 blockbuster “American Idiot,” though one of the track’s key lines—“the subliminal mindfuck America”—was ultimately censored during the broadcast.
During Bad Bunny’s headlining halftime set on Sunday, fans were quick to spot cameos from Cardi B and Pedro Pascal. Both Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, meanwhile, joined Bad Bunny for key moments from the must-watch performance.
Naturally, Benito rocked Adidas for the set, as seen below.
