RDCWorld dropped a skit parodying dedicated Drake since the release of Iceman.
In the sketch, the crew parodies Drake supporters as overly aggressive loyalists who treat listening to Kendrick Lamar or J. Cole like straight-up betrayal. Two fans move like a street gang throughout the video, confronting anyone to see what exactly they’re listening to.
Upon discovery that one man is listening to Cole’s 2013 track “Forbidden Fruit,” which features Lamar, the aggressors decide they’ll attack him only to spare him just seconds later.
“We got love for you, but we can never forgive you,” says one man.
“Get yourself right, fam,” says the other.
Moments later, they approach another passerby who happens to be listening to Iceman. However, upon scanning through the albums on his Music app, one of the antagonists realizes the man also has Kendrick’s GNX saved to his phone. They then pin the man to a wall as they delete all traces of Drake’s music from his phone.
“There you go, crodie. Left you with ASAP Rocky, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, fam,” he said before hopping into a car and driving off.
The video arrives as Drake makes Billboard history with Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour all dominating the charts. According to Billboard, Drake currently has 12 projects simultaneously charting on the Billboard 200, making him the first living solo artist to ever achieve the feat.
Meanwhile, "Janice STFU" debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, giving Drake his 14th career No. 1 single and pushing him past Michael Jackson for the most chart-toppers by a solo male artist.
Across the three projects, 42 out of 43 songs landed on the Hot 100, with nine tracks debuting inside the top 10. Drake also extended his record for the most Hot 100 entries ever, becoming the first artist in history to surpass 400 career entries.
