It’s no surprise that Adin Ross is Team Drake.
During a press conference for Ross’ Brand Risk event over the weekend, the streamer declared that the 6 God would "beat the fuck" out of Kendrick Lamar if the two rappers ever stepped into a boxing ring together.
Ross's confidence in Drake likely stems from their close relationship. Ross has made it very clear that he’s a fan of the Canadian superstar, with the pair having previously appeared on several collaborative streams. The 25-year-old also got a shout-out on the Iceman album cut, “Make Them Pay,” in a line that also disses Rick Ross: “Dawg, I was aidin’ Ross with streams before Adin Ross had ever streamed.”
Ross launched Brand Risk Promotions in 2024, “with a vision to revolutionize combat sports by bringing the energy and audience of streaming culture into the ring” according to its website. This most recent Brand Risk event was one of the biggest, with Supa Hot Fire facing Ray J, Lance Stephenson taking on Michael Beasley, and Johnny Manziel fighting Bob Menery.
Drake and the streamer’s relationship appears deeper than expected, with the Iceman even sending Ross tracks from the album so he could share them with a family member before they passed away.
“I had a family member who passed,” Ross said during a livestream earlier this month. “And they were waiting on Iceman. … Drake had sent me songs a while back. So what I’m saying is that at least that person could at least hear something, you know what I’m saying? Obviously, not knowing what would happen, but it was awesome.”
