Adin Ross says he wants answers following the bizarre amateur MMA fight between Ray J and comedian Supa Hot Fire after comments made by Ray J sparked speculation that the match may not have been legitimate.
During a recent livestream, Adin addressed the fight directly and suggested his team plans to look deeper into what happened inside the cage.
“Ray J obviously what he said after the fight… Supahot not throwing a fucking punch like in the first round, we need to look into that,” Adin said. “We need to investigate that.”
Ross went on to say that Supa Hot Fire’s sudden change in performance between rounds made the fight appear suspicious.
“Supahot has been nothing but a great fighter,” he continued. “Supa looked like himself in the second round. Now do I know why Ray J said what he said? No I don’t. … We’re taking that shit very seriously. It looked weird bro.”
The comments come after Saturday night’s chaotic fight at Brand Risk 14 in Las Vegas, where Ray J suffered a second-round stoppage loss to Supa Hot Fire, whose real name is DeWayne Stevenson.
The bout immediately sparked confusion online because of how differently Stevenson fought from one round to the next. During the opening round, Supa Hot Fire largely circled the cage, barely engaging and seemingly refusing to throw punches while Ray J aggressively pushed forward and landed shots.
Then, less than 30 seconds into the second round, Stevenson suddenly unleashed multiple combinations and dropped Ray J for the finish.
Slow-motion clips of the knockout quickly circulated online, with viewers pointing out the visible swelling on Ray J’s forehead and the dramatic nature of the finish.
But it was Ray J’s post-fight reaction that fueled conspiracy theories even further.
After the match ended, Ray J confronted Stevenson and appeared upset, at one point saying he believed “they had a plan” while also complaining about losing money connected to the fight.
Those remarks immediately led social media users to speculate that the bout had been partially staged or manipulated, though there is no confirmed evidence to support those claims.
The strange energy surrounding the event had already started before fight night. During a pre-fight press conference, tensions escalated after Stevenson mocked Ray J while wearing a shirt featuring Kim Kardashian, a reference to their infamous history.
Ray J also made emotional comments leading into the fight, including one moment where he referenced online rumors about his health and said he was “dying” for what he believed in inside the ring.
