Lil Tjay is making it clear he has "no beef" with Offset.
The 24-year-old rapper made the comment when he was stopped by a TMZ photographer on Tuesday (April 28) in Beverly Hills and was asked about squashing his issues with the 34-year-old Migos alum.
“I ain't got no beef for nobody, brother,” he told the outlet, before quickly pivoting to promo mode. “My album's coming out May 1st … They Just Ain't You, it stands for TJAY. l'mma have a lot of controversial shit. If y'all want some controversial shit, stream the album."
Tjay has expressed uncertainty about what actually happened on the night Offset was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (April 6)—an incident he was initially linked to following an alleged altercation involving him and his entourage that led to his arrest on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.
"I'm just as confused as everyone else about that," he told Billboard during a recent interview. “My lawyer told me not to touch on it too much. What I can say is the album will really hit home for my fans."
After he was released from jail, Tjay denied any involvement in any violence and pushed back on claims about what happened that night.
“The last thing I see was Offset looking at me like this: ‘Yo, that n***a shot me, that n***a shot me!’” he told reporters. “N***a is a rat, n***a. … I didn’t do no damn fighting. Did I shoot? That shit is crazy. I will smack the shit out of Offset. He would never play like that with me in his life. Ask Offset.”
His attorney, Dawn Florio, also denied that he was tied to the shooting, telling Complex: “The only thing that Lil Tjay was being looked into for was for creating a disturbance. Those are the charges that he’s fighting. As far as I’m aware, there’s no charges related to shooting Offset. There’s video everywhere — there’s no video that shows that Tjay is involved in any of this.”
Offset later responded after Tjay called him a rat, posting "U ain't buss nun" on Instagram. He later shared an update to Instagram saying he is “focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music.”
Lil Tjay and Offset have been at odds for more than a year. In January 2025, Tjay claimed Offset was "broke" and struggling with a "gambling addiction," also alleging that he owed him up to $10,000.
The dispute later escalated further, with Offset eventually challenging Tjay to a livestreamed fight.
