DDG and Soulja, of course, have history.

DDG isn’t particularly impressed by the designs featured in Soulja Boy’s merch brand. It seems the shoes, specifically, caught the rapper-streamer’s eye.

For those unfamiliar, Soulja Boy Drip Co. is a Soulja-led brand that currently offers sneakers, hoodies, tees, and more. As of this writing, the two sneaker designs currently featured on the brand’s official site are listed for $100 and $350, respectively.

When met with photos of the sneaker component of Soulja’s line, DDG was quick to offer his assessment, arguing the designs are of the “ass” variety.

“Them mfs ass,” DDG wrote in an X post shared on Monday (Jan. 12), coupling his expectedly critical statement with a trio of fire emojis.

Soulja later responded to DDG’s remarks, urging him to drop his own line of sneakers “and let’s go sale for sale.”

DDG and Soulja, of course, have a history of not being especially fond of each other. In May of last year, for example, Soulja challenged “bitch-ass” DDG to a multimillion-dollar fight.

"DDG, you a hoe,” the “Crank That” hitmaker said at the time. “Halle [Bailey] don't want you. Your son don't wanna see you. You a bitch. I'm gon' beat yo muthafuckin' ass when I see you, and can't nothing stop it.”

Shortly after, Adin Ross made headlines for his efforts to get this would-be showdown on the books. At one point, the streamer suggested that Drake might be interested in bankrolling the fight, telling viewers he was “not even joking” about the prospect.
