Adin Ross Tries to Negotiate Soulja Boy and DDG Fight: 'Drake Would Actually Probably Pay'

Soulja Boy and DDG have been publicly entertaining the idea of a fight for some time now.

Though it brings me no pleasure to report this, what you are about to read is yet another article about Adin Ross, purported tariffs expert. This time, we’re discussing his recent efforts to broker a boxing match agreement between Soulja Boy and DDG.

As previously reported, Soulja called DDG a “bitch” earlier this month, going on to threaten him. At the time, Soulja was speaking out about the allegations made against DDG by Halle Bailey, who was recently reported to have been granted temporary physical and legal custody of their son, Halo.

From there, Soulja challenged DDG to a $10 million fight, to which DDG seemingly responded by suggesting that the “Crank That” artist was “poor.”

Now, Adin is making headlines for his recent efforts to get a date on the books for Soulja and DDG’s potential fight. As seen in the video below, Adin spoke with Soulja and DDG both about the possible face-off, proposing dates in June and July for the match.

At one point, a proposal of $75,000 each, plus another $100,000 for the winner, is discussed. Soulja, however, was not immediately on board for this iteration of the would-be deal.

“Don’t try me like that. … Tell DDG I’mma beat him up for free,” Soulja said. “When they get a million at least, minimum, then holler at me. 75 bands? I’ll go beat him up for nothing if that’s the case.”

From there, DDG argued that Soulja is “scared” and “broke.” Adin, meanwhile, entertained a commenter's idea of getting Drake involved to fund the match.

“Guys, actually knowing Drake, Drake would actually probably pay to make it happen,” Ross said. “Dude, I’m not even joking. … Let me cook. No, I’m not gonna call Drake about that on stream. That’s putting him on the spot. I’m not gonna do that.”

The video embedded above goes on to include additional comments, though I simply couldn’t bring myself to care enough to continue transcribing them. Watch it in full above, if you must.
