Each of the rappers discussed consistently gets fits off, but there’s more to it than that. Are they following the crowd or are they leading? Are their looks versatile or one dimensional? Does their style permeate popular culture through widespread influence or official partnerships?

From the new school to seasoned veterans, these are our picks for the 10 Best Dressed Rappers of 2026, so far.

10

Jay-Z

Last year’s rank: N/A

Jay-Z popped out with a new look when he hit the Roots Picnic stage in Philadelphia in early June. Hov has paired his ‘fro with some great outfits, whether it be his Fear of God set on the Roots Picnic stage or his Bode shirt and clean white Air Forces 1s on the floor at Madison Square Garden for the NBA Finals. He isn’t trying to keep up with the trends that all of the younger rappers participate in—instead, he’s showing off a simple and elevated wardrobe that perfectly fits his age.

9

Travis Scott

Last year’s rank: N/A

Travis Scott’s wardrobe has become somewhat formulaic. Start with an expensive pair of pants from Chrome Hearts. Add a rare ‘90s T-shirt. Lace up a pair of his own Air Jordans. Accessorize with six-figures worth of jewelry, a crazy Audemars Piguet, and a futuristic pair of Oakley shades to cover his eyes. If it ain’t broke…

Molly Santana

Last year’s rank: N/A

Molly Santana has had a breakout year, in large part to her feature on Drake’s Iceman. The “Ran 2 Atlanta” rapper is one of the flyest from the genre’s younger crop of talent, from her ever-changing hair color to her striking black grills to her closet full of Rick Owens and Hysteric Glamour.

Her aesthetic is a blend of punk rock, Y2K, and Japanese high fashion. In many ways, Molly’s style is the women’s interpretation of the 00pium swag popularized by Playboi Carti and his labelmates. Just look at North West’s style right now. That’s all Molly.

7

Lil Uzi Vert

Last year’s rank: N/A

Lil Uzi Vert is one of the best dressed rappers of all time and the best part about their style is their versatility. In 2026, that has included full fits from Demna’s Gucci accessorized with neon-colored fox tails; every Dracula piece from Jonathan Anderson’s Dior, worn all at once; and a Sega-inspired Saint Michael jacket on Fallon. Uzi also must be feeling nostalgic because lately the Philly rapper has tapped into their emo side to tease a pack of chunky skate shoes with Vans. Like they told us in 2016, Uzi does what Uzi wants.

Action Bronson

Last year’s rank: N/A

Throughout his career, Action Bronson has been a relatively calm dresser. He loves a Carhartt shirt, a Knicks jersey, and some baggy shorts to show off all of his tats. His New Balance sneaker collabs have been some of our favorites in recent years. He’s put together, but he doesn’t necessarily stand out. That changed after he dropped off his run of fit pics from his Sicily trip earlier this month.

He was clearly feeling himself. The striped linen shirt with the pink pants was an all-timer. He looked like a mob boss in his classic two-piece suit. He even pulled off the full vintage Patrick Ewing kit during the Knicks Finals run. The rotation of sporty Oakleys grounded each look in Bronson’s typically casual vibe. Simply put, it was a masterclass.

5

Tyler, The Creator

Last year’s rank: 6

Uniform dressing can grow dull, but Tyler is an exception to the rule. He manages to have fun while keeping everything rooted in the classic preppy sensibility that he’s worn for years now. A clean pair of chinos, some type of collared shirt, a nice pair of loafers, and a rare (and usually expensive) vintage watch.

Tyler constantly refreshes his looks with a wide array of funky hats, from furry ushankas to trapper caps. He also loves striking pastels and statement pieces like the silk map knit cardigan from Supreme Fall/Winter 2023 that he wore to the Roots Picnic. That look is proof that Tyler has found a way to keep one of his original loves in the fold despite his style maturing. He’s still a streetwear nerd at heart.

Bad Bunny

Last year’s rank: 3

Bad Bunny’s fashion resumé took huge leaps forward in the first half of 2026, thanks to two major collaborations. He debuted his first original sneaker silhouette with Adidas, the BadBo 1.0, and also released a 100-plus-piece apparel collection with Zara just a few months after rocking an all-white custom look from the Spanish fashion label for his Super Bowl LX halftime performance. When he isn’t parlaying his superstar status into massive brand deals, Bad Bunny is representing the breezy island vibes of Puerto Rico with a healthy balance between high and low. That can range from casual, sand-colored suiting to beach-ready gear like swim trunks and flip flops. The total package makes for one of the cleanest and most consistent wardrobes right now.

3

Lil Yachty

Last year’s rank: 4

As polarizing as Boat’s music can be, his closet is undeniable. We’ve become accustomed to the fit pic dumps on his burner IG page, but in 2026 Lil Yachty has shown off his insane gear via a new forum: the wrestling ring. Acting as a manager of sorts for rising WWE superstar Trick Williams, Yachty has approached the squared circle in Chrome Hearts pants, Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton fanny packs, and vintage Shrek tees. Then the next day, you might see him in full Ralph mode at the horse track. It’s this ease of mixing expensive luxury pieces with rare vintage and coveted streetwear that has made him a style muse.

2

ASAP Rocky

Last year’s rank: 2

ASAP Rocky has lived up to the “pretty mothafucka” moniker that he bestowed upon himself over a decade ago. The only real difference between then and now is that he’s moved on from Raf Simons sweaters, Rick Owens sneakers, and Supreme tees, to Chanel and Jonathan Anderson’s Dior.

The button-ups, fancy ties, and leather trench coats are peak dad swag, but Rocky hasn’t totally abandoned the street style Harlem gave him. Catch him on stage during his Don’t Be Dumb tour in some baggy denim, an oversized graphic tee, and an AWGE balaclava orchestrating the mosh pits in the crowd below with his mega phone in hand. Oh yeah, he’s probably accessorizing with his own pairs of Ray-Bans and Puma sneakers. Rocky is a modern day style icon—with the business acumen to match—who is still finding ways to reinvent himself.

1

Playboi Carti

Last year’s rank: 1

There is no other artist with greater influence on Gen Z rap fans than Playboi Carti. The murdered-out 00pium aesthetic, most recently seen with a healthy dose of Demna’s Gucci, is still the primary choice for Carti and his diehard supporters. The “OLYMPIAN” rapper isn’t averse to colors though. Just look at him in these red Margiela Futures, a luxury sneaker that he helped introduce to a new generation last year and has continued to champion since. He also been consistently sprinkling in pieces from under-the-radar designer Andreas Aresti’s Lourdes into his wardrobe this year.

At this point, the only thing that Carti needs is a full-fledged clothing line. Given his massive influence, and proven success with smaller drops, it seems like a no brainer. In the meantime, Carti sits atop the throne as rap’s best dressed superstar.
