Bad Bunny and Zara are launching a new collaboration, BENITO ANTONIO, after months of quietly rolling out custom looks together.
The 150-piece collection arrives globally on May 21 online and in select stores, following a series of high-profile appearances tied to the project before it was formally announced.
The first glimpse came February 8, when Bad Bunny performed at the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show in Santa Clara wearing custom Zara looks created for the performance.
The collaboration surfaced again at the Met Gala on May 4, where he arrived as an older version of himself in a black tuxedo he designed alongside Zara.
Days before the official launch, Zara transformed its store at Plaza Las Américas into a pop-up space dedicated to the collection, giving Puerto Rico the first public look at the line on May 16. Bad Bunny also made a surprise appearance at the store that afternoon.
Developed with longtime creative director Janthony Oliveras, the collection includes tailoring, oversized basics, textured separates and summer-focused pieces shaped around Bad Bunny's personal style.
Per a press release, the visual identity of the collection was created with M/M Paris and draws inspiration from details of everyday Puerto Rican life, including street infrastructure and handmade textures.
BENITO ANTONIO will debut Thursday, May 21 at zara.com and in select Zara stores across the United States. Those stores include Zara Man in NYC (73 Spring Street, Soho), The Grove Los Angeles, and Miami Brickell.
