Ray J’s estranged wife, Princess Love, has changed her protective order against him amidst his claims that he only has months to live.
The singer’s attorney issued a statement to Page Six after he was spotted with Princess Love following a hearing at a Los Angeles courthouse in which the judge agreed to amend the protective order so he could see their two children, Epik and Melody.
“The restraining order was modified to allow Ray J to have unlimited contact with his children and wife,” Ray J’s attorney said.
The protective order was due to him being arrested last November and allegedly brandishing a gun during a livestream on Thanksgiving. He later denied the claim to TMZ, claiming that he "would never point a gun at anybody, including Princess Love.”
Just days before this hearing about the protective order, Ray J gave the world a troubling health update after telling his fans that he “almost died.” He said he doesn’t have long to live.
“2027 is definitely a wrap for me” he said during a stream. “My baby mama gon’ be straight, my kids gon’ be straight. If they wanna spend all the money, they can spend it, but I did my part here.”
In the same clip, Ray J expressed regret for how he lived.
“I shouldn’t have went this hard, bro,” he said. “I shouldn’t have went that hard. And then, when it’s all done, burn me. Don’t bury me.”
Ray J eventually explained what that meant — how he had consumed “four or five bottles” of alcohol per day during a period of his life while also taking 10 Adderall pills. Because of that, the singer claimed he “fucked my heart up on the right side.”
