Rihanna pulled up to the opening night of ASAP Rocky’s Don’t Be Dumb-supporting tour at Chicago’s United Center arena on Wednesday (May 27).
Footage making the rounds on social media, and originally shared by X user @jasbre_, shows RiRi dancing and singing along to Rocky’s 2018 Testing single “Praise the Lord (Da Shine).”
If the reported setlist from the opening night of the tour holds for the rest of Rocky’s extensive run, fans can expect an emphasis on Don’t Be Dumb, his long-awaited fourth studio album. The project, featuring cover art attributed to Edward Scissorhands filmmaker Tim Burton, was mercifully released in January after years of teases, ultimately netting Rocky the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
“Just me here to let y’all know my baby daddy got the NUMBER 1 ALBUM!!!” Rihanna wrote in an X post that month when celebrating Rocky’s well-earned (and long-gestating) charts feat.
In recent weeks, Rocky and company have been teasing a continuation of the album dubbed Disc 2.
Following its United Center kickoff, Rocky’s tour will next hit Cleveland’s Rocket Arena on Friday (May 29). Additional dates include confirmed stops in Toronto, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, Austin, San Francisco, Vancouver, London, Manchester, Stockholm, Paris, and elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Rocky is currently ranked at No. 31 on Complex’s list of the 100 hottest rappers right now. Stunna Sandy, EsDeeKid, Lil Uzi Vert, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and more also made the cut.
