ASAP Rocky is leaving the question of whether he and Rihanna have more children together to a higher power, joking in a recent Joe Budden Podcast Network interview that he’s nearing Nick Cannon territory.
Asked by Budden in a recent Patreon-exclusive podcast episode whether he was “done with kids” after having three children with Rihanna, Rocky kept the door open while acknowledging the busy situation he and his partner currently find themselves in.
“Listen, man, whatever God give me,” the Don’t Be Dumb artist said. “It’s a blessing. I ain’t gon’ hold you, though. We got our hands full right now. We got a football team right now. I’m about to catch up to Nick Cannon, you shittin’ me?”
Cannon, as has been consistently headlined, is the father of 12 children. In a Breakfast Club interview last September, Cannon said all 12 of his children were “made out of love” while in “strong relationships.” Still, he has come to some realizations about his life over the years thanks to therapy.
"It’s just if I would have done the work and the healing after getting divorced, I probably would have took my time in a lot of other scenarios,” he said at the time when touching on what he’s learned through therapy. “I thought that was the answer a lot of times.”
Rocky and Rihanna welcomed their third child together, daughter Rocki Irish Mayers, last year. In an interview with Complex’s Mike DeStefano shortly after, Rocky cited his newborn daughter as “my favorite thing I created this year.”
