DDG has made a declaration that his fellow Midwesterner Sexyy Red is among the best rappers of all time.
The streamer clearly tapped in with Sexyy's features on new Drake albums Maid of Honour and Habibti, because on Friday (May 15), DDG took to X to post: "Sexyy Red Top 5 Rapper of ALL TIME."
DDG shares a friendship with Sexyy and Drizzy, the latter of whom released the aforementioned surprise projects alongside his much anticipated Iceman album on Friday. The streamer was a guest performer during Sexyy's Coachella set last month and hilariously revealed his "real voice" to the St. Louis native.
Earlier this month, DDG was in the room when Sexyy revealed that she'd soon be traveling to Toronto, although she played coy about whether she'd be on Iceman.
Last month, Sexyy dropped her new album, Yo Favorite Rappa Favorite Trappa, which follows her debut album, In Sexyy We Trust. On the album is the Drake-assisted "U My Everything," and they also previously collaborated on Drizzy's "Rich Baby Daddy" along with SZA.
DDG's last album was 2025's Blame the Chat. In the last week, the streamer held a live Wild’n Out battle with the show’s host and creator Nick Cannon, and the entertainers took jabs at each other about parenting. At one point, DDG got personal and suggested that the father of 12 "wild’n abort."
After Cannon made a dig that DDG’s past custody battle with his ex-girlfriend, actor and singer Halle Bailey, he went on to call the mothers of Cannon's children "whores."
