Sexyy Red performed at the wedding for President Donald Trump’s adviser, Alex Bruesewitz, in a celebration also reportedly attended by Nicki Minaj.
Bruesewitz tied the knot with former Miss Nevada USA, Carolina Urrea.
Footage from the festivities on Saturday (Jan. 31), which took place at both the president’s Mar-a-Lago club and Trump National Doral Miami resort, revealed that Red took to the stage to perform her popular song “Get It Sexyy."
Initial reports stated 50 Cent also attended the event, but a press release shared with Complex confirmed the rapper was performing at a birthday party in New York City on Saturday night.
Ahead of Bruesewitz’s wedding, Minaj posted a selfie video with her husband, set to the track “I Wanna Be With You” by DJ Khaled, on which she appears alongside Future and Rick Ross.
Minaj’s appearance at the White House-adjacent wedding of Brueswitz came days after she called herself the president’s “No. 1 fan” earlier in the week.
While speaking at the Trump Accounts Summit on Jan. 28 in Washington, D.C., Minaj held Trump’s hand and told the world that she’ll never switch sides.
“I don’t know what to say, but I will say that I am probably the president's No. 1 fan. That's not going to change,” she said.
“And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more—and it’s gonna motivate all of us to support him more,” Minaj continued. “We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him and, you know, the smear campaigns: It’s not going to work, OK? He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen.”
Another major White House wedding happened at Mar-A-Lago on Sunday, when White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino wed Erin Elmore, the director of art in embassies at the U.S. Department of State.
