Ice Spice is revealing the real reason behind her weight loss, saying it has nothing to do with medications like Ozempic.
The topic came up when a 2024 video of the rapper working out was reshared by a meme account on X.
“Ice Spice shows off her workout and that her weight loss wasn't from ozempic [flushed face emoji,” the user captioned the post.
Another user quote-tweeted the post, writing, “This weak ass video just shows it was definitely from ozempic.”
Ice Spice responded, “Na it was depression im better now tho [heart emoji].”
She didn’t provide further details, but Ice admitted to "having anxiety and stuff like that" during a 2023 interview with The Guardian.
This isn’t the first time Ice Spice has shut down speculation that she’s using GLP-1 medications like Ozempic to shed weight.
"Bitch, I wish y’all never learned the word Ozempic," she said during an August 2024 livestream. "That’s one thing I wish. Oh my god, like, what even is Ozempic? What the fuck is that? Like, genuinely, what is that, bro? Like, you lazy ass bitches never heard of a gym? It’s called a gym. It’s called eating healthy. It’s called being on tour. Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting home all fucking day, it’d be easier to stay big."
Ice Spice returned to music in 2025 with the singles "Gyatt" with Latto, M.I.A.-sampling "Baddie Baddie," and her dembow collaboration "Thootie" with Tokischa.
In November, Ice Spice released the song "Big Guy" from The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, which later inspired a viral TikTok challenge that got Madonna dancing.
Ice Spice celebrated her 26th birthday at on Jan. 1 in New York City. TMZ obtained footage of her attempting to exit the building, showing her stumbling a bit while making her way to a nearby van.
