Madonna and her boyfriend are getting into the groove with a viral trend using Ice Spice’s viral SpongeBob song.
The Queen of Pop, 67, shared a video to her TikTok account participating in the SpongeBob “Big Guy” dance along with her 29-year-old boyfriend, Akeem Morris.
As the track featured in The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants plays, Madonna stands in front of her shirtless boyfriend who flexes his arms and then brings them around her. The couple swap spots for the next refrain, giving the Hard Candy singer a chance to show off her own guns.
According to Elle, Morris is a soccer player born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, who later moved to New York to attend Stony Brook University. He played soccer in college and went on to play for Oyster Bay United FC, a premiere league team, and appears to currently live in New York City with little visible social media presence.
Morris first appeared in Madonna's orbit in 2022 when he was part of her Paper Magazine photo shoot. She was dating boxer and Summer House star Josh Popper through most of 2023 and into early 2024, making a romantic relationship unlikely at that time.
After Madonna and Popper split in spring 2024, Morris began appearing more prominently with her, and they seem to have been dating since at least July 2024, when he appeared in her Fourth of July photos.
For more perspective on the couple’s 38-year age gap, Morris celebrated his third birthday a day after SpongeBob SquarePants premiered on Nickelodeon on May 1, 1999.
