Charlamagne tha God says he can’t get behind this particular trend inspired by Drake's Iceman release.

On Friday’s episode of The Breakfast Club, the 47-year-old morning radio host asked listeners to avoid hitting their phone lines with any takes on the surprise triple release, which included Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti.

“Salute to everyone out there who’s gonna lie and say they listened to all three Drake albums, even though all three Drake albums came out after midnight,” Charlamagne said. “Ain’t no way in hell you listened to all three Drake albums, so don’t even call up here telling that lie this morning, giving your reviews.”

He added, “I don’t wanna hear no reviews on any Drake music until at least next Wednesday or Thursday.”

While taking a call from a listener who complained about how Drake’s fans are only discussing his “diss lyrics,” Charlamagne said, “The thing that I do like about Drake, he does put whatever he's going through in his music. So that's where these stories are coming from. It's not like he’s just sitting on an interview blabbling about people. It is coming from his music.”

The DJ then joked about Drake’s rollout, which involved various “frozen” objects tied to the Iceman theme, including courtside seats for the Toronto Raptors. Charlamagne joked that to him, they looked like something very different.

“I haven't heard all three [albums]. But what I think is weird is all of these men, you know, posting these pictures of themselves covered in frozen semen saying ‘Iceman,’” Charlamagne added, without naming any specific people.

“It looks like they got in an OVO gangbang,” he joked.

“It’s supposed to be ice, like, sub-zero, y’all,” Jess Hilarious responded.

Elsewhere in the broadcast, The Breakfast Club played a portion of “Make Them Pay,” the track where Drake takes aim at DJ Khaled by pointing out his lack of public support for Palestine.

“Damn. You gon’ make Khaled lose 21 pounds, man,” Charlamagne quipped. “Khaled, I tried to warn you three days ago that you was getting a big shot.”

Co-host Loren LoRosa weighed in, saying that Khaled will not respond to that.

“How can he? Ad libbing?” Charlamagne asked. “What is he supposed to do? Does Khaled even got rappers to respond?”

“No, but you know, Khaled [can] get on, make a video, start yelling: ‘Yeah, keys! Positive!’ All of that. He ain’t doing none of that.”

“He’s either gonna make Khaled lose more weight or gain more weight from stress eating—one of the two,” Charlamagne quipped.

During the broadcast on Monday (May 11), Charlamagne sent a direct warning to Khaled after sharing a source confirmed to him that a diss was coming.

“Khaled, you need to be on edge,” he said at the time. “You and ASAP Rocky. You’re getting direct shots on the project, just wanted y’all to know that.”
