Drake, as some predicted in the run-up to his new album, does indeed call out DJ Khaled on a song included in the fourth episode of his Iceman livestream series.
In the lyric in question, Drake argues that Khaled’s “people are still waiting” for him to express his support for Palestine.
“Your people are still waiting for a ‘Free Palestine,’ but apparently everything isn't black and white and red and green,” Drake raps in the track, tentatively titled “Make Them Pay.”
Yes, this means the wait is (almost) over: Drake officially launched his Iceman era with a new episode of his livestream series on Thursday (May 14). The album, initially expected to drop last year, marks his first solo studio album since For All the Dogs in October 2023. A Scary Hours edition of the album was released a month later.
Iceman is also Drake’s first album since his feud with Kendrick Lamar made headlines in the summer of 2024.
Complex has kept you locked in on all things Drake and Iceman — from breaking down who he would potentially diss to unpacking the six essentials that define his personal style.
For Thursday’s livestream, Drake welcomed a number of special guests, including Drake’s son, Adonis, and comedian Shane Gillis. He also previewed a slew of new music, all leading to the announcement that Iceman, in fact, would not be alone in its midnight rollout. Turns out we’re getting not one, not two, but three new albums.
