Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional American football team competing in the NFC East division of the NFL. Founded in 1933, the Eagles are one of the oldest franchises in the league and play their home games at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The franchise has won one Super Bowl championship: Super Bowl LII in February 2018, defeating the New England Patriots 41–33 in a game defined by Nick Foles' "Philly Special" trick play. They lost Super Bowl LVII to the Kansas City Chiefs in February 2025. The Eagles have a passionate and historically intense fanbase — one of the most vocal in the NFL — and the team's identity is closely tied to the working-class culture of Philadelphia. The franchise has produced Hall of Fame players including Chuck Bednarik, Reggie White, and Brian Dawkins, and has been a consistent playoff contender in recent decades under head coach Nick Sirianni. The Eagles' midnight green uniforms and the Liberty Bell iconography in their branding make them one of the most visually distinct franchises in professional football.
