Fred Johnson is facing public accusations from his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Lyss Okada, who claims the Philadelphia Eagles lineman forced her out of their home while she was eight months pregnant before allegedly joining dating apps to meet other women. The allegations surfaced over the weekend through a series of TikTok videos.
Okada, 31, detailed the breakup in emotional posts that showed her luggage in the back seat of her car, as she described what she says happened in the final days of the relationship. In one video, she framed the situation hypothetically while strongly implying it reflected her own experience.
“Hypothetically, if a man were to kick out his eight-month pregnant girlfriend and unborn daughter and be on Hinge the very next day looking for women to have fun with,” she said, “you would not think that man is a good man or good father.”
The couple had publicly celebrated their pregnancy only months earlier. Earlier this year, Johnson and Okada shared social media posts announcing they were expecting a baby girl in 2026. Those posts have since been altered, with Johnson being removed from tags and references on Okada’s accounts.
In a follow-up TikTok posted over Mother’s Day weekend, Okada pushed back against criticism aimed at her after the breakup became public.
“I just truly think it’s time people stop blaming women for the partners they choose,” she said. “And start blaming partners for pretending to be something that they are not.”
Johnson, 28, has not directly addressed the accusations.
However, around the same time the videos began circulating, Johnson shared several cryptic Instagram Stories referencing emotional restraint and maturity, including one that said, “the smartest flex isn’t revenge” and “they know you ain’t deserve that, that’s why they’re out there spreading them rumors about you.”
In March, Philadelphia re-signed the veteran tackle to a one-year contract after he emerged as a reliable depth piece across the offensive line. Johnson started 14 games over the past two seasons, filling in for both Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata while helping stabilize one of the NFL’s strongest offensive fronts. Johnson allowed just two sacks across nearly 400 pass-blocking snaps last season.
Johnson was also part of Philadelphia’s Super Bowl-winning 2024 campaign against the Kansas City Chiefs, appearing in the championship game as the Eagles secured a 40-22 victory in New Orleans.
