Nikki Bella is once again making it clear that her relationship status has not changed, despite months of headlines linking her to Cooper DeJean.
During an appearance on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast released April 8, Bella was asked directly about her personal life. Her answer was brief but unambiguous.
“I’m single,” Bella said when Angie Martinez brought up the subject. She admitted that dating is not a major focus right now, explaining that she enjoys the life she has built for herself and her 5-year-old son, Matteo.
“I love being single,” she said. “I love my space. I love how I do my routines. I love my aesthetic of my home now of just like it’s me and my son.”
Bella went on to explain that dating currently feels more like “another thing” added to an already full schedule. Between motherhood, business ventures, and her return to WWE, she said she has not met someone who makes her want to change that.
“It’s probably because I haven’t met the person who’s made me want to make space for that,” she said.
The comments arrive after months of speculation surrounding Bella and DeJean. The rumors began late last year when Bella visited Philadelphia and posted social media clips from inside the Eagles’ locker room.
One video showed her standing near DeJean’s locker, while another captured the two smiling together during the trip.
From there, the story only grew. Bella attended multiple Eagles games wearing DeJean’s jersey, and reports in January described the pair as “casually dating” while still considering themselves single.
Even as the attention intensified, both Bella and DeJean repeatedly avoided labeling the relationship. Bella previously said on The Nikki & Brie Show that she had not “even kissed someone in so long,” while DeJean gave noncommittal answers when asked about her during Super Bowl week.
Since then, the Eagles star has also been linked to other women, including Abby Summers and Southern Charm cast member Salley Carson.
