In a move that one could argue implies that Sam Levinson’s Euphoria exists within the fictional world of the show itself, Sydney Sweeney wore a corset from her own lingerie brand, SYRN, in the long-awaited Season 3 premiere.
The episode premiered on Sunday (April 13), giving fans everything from a harrowing depiction of the decidedly dirty business of being a drug mule to, yes, pup play.
Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, is seen in the first episode of the new season working to establish herself as a content creator, with the aim of using the money, at least in part, to fund an elaborate (and expensive) wedding. When the idea of launching an OnlyFans is hatched, Cassie’s husband-to-be, Nate Jacobs (played by Jacob Elordi), is initially opposed to the potentially lucrative endeavor.
Nate ultimately agrees to Cassie’s plan, albeit with conditions. In future episodes, it’s safe to say we can expect to see more of Cassie’s OnlyFans-ification, including some managerial involvement from Maddy (played by Alexa Demie).
Thanks to this storyline, Sweeney’s SYRN, launched in January, bagged a placement in the Season 3 premiere. Sweeney, as Cassie, is seen wearing the brand’s Date Night Satin Corset, priced at $269 and available in multiple colors.
Billed as “a playground for self-expression,” SYRN first turned heads with a stunt back in January in which Sweeney scaled the famed Hollywood Sign to adorn it with bras. The stunt clearly worked, as the brand’s initial offerings later sold out in a matter of hours.
