Ray-Ban and Scuderia Ferrari have introduced a new model of sunglasses as part of the two brands’ ongoing collaborative relationship.
In press notes, the transparent blue shades, formally known as the RB2228M F708EI model, are billed as aiming to “rewrite the rules beyond the racetrack” for those keen on wearing them. The glasses are built from sleek acetate, with the transparent blue coloring chosen as a nod to the spirit of Miami.
The lenses, meanwhile, boast a two-tone gradient that allows wearers to enjoy both a deep blue and vivid yellow perspective, marking another nod to the Florida city.
The glasses, part of a larger capsule collection from Ray-Ban and Scuderia Ferrari featuring additional models, are available now and come packaged with a case and cleaning cloth.

Scuderia Ferrari, for those unfamiliar, is Ferrari’s longstanding Formula One racing team. On the horizon is the Miami Grand Prix, set for May 3 at the Miami International Autodrome. See here for info on how to watch, including details for practice and qualifying sessions, plus the main event.
Recent Ray-Ban developments, meanwhile, include the naming of BLACKPINK’s Jennie as a global ambassador for the brand, as well as the release of an ASAP Rocky-led campaign film featuring Nas. The short, as previously reported, took inspiration from Hype Williams’ 1998 film Belly, with the focus on Rocky’s then-new Metal Collection.
At the time, Rocky was fresh off the No. 1 debut of his long-awaited Don’t Be Dumb album, featuring cover art by filmmaker Tim Burton.
