Jordyn Woods's Orange Clutch Deemed 'Lucky' by Superstitious Knicks Fans: Here's How to Get Your Own

After the way they put a bow on Game 4, one could argue the Knicks don't need luck at all. Still, a little insurance never hurts.

With the Knicks now poised to take it all the way after their historic Game 4 win, a more superstitious sector of the fandom is pointing to a range of possible good luck charms.

ASAP Rocky, for example, declared himself one, while Fat Joe credited a well-timed Barney dance with helping clinch the victory on Wednesday (June 10). Meanwhile, Ben Stiller cited Wu-Tang Clan’s halftime performance as the “start of the comeback” in the fourth game of the NBA Finals.

All that said, we’d be remiss not to consider Jordyn Woods’s orange clutch.

Below, we take a closer look at the bag’s unlikely journey, plus break down how you can get your own.

Jordyn Woods’s orange clutch has been a staple at Knicks games

You’ve surely seen the bag, as it’s been as much of a fixture at Knicks games this season as, say, Timothée Chalamet. Key to its distinction as an arguable good luck charm is its presence amid a fiery winning streak for the Mike Brown-led team. Woods, notably, is engaged to the Knicks’ own Karl-Anthony Towns.

Trump’s attendance at Game 3, however, complicated matters

Cardi B put it best: There was a “dark” vibe to the proceedings at Game 3, which saw Trump visiting the Garden, thus leading to a much higher level of security protocols for attendees.

“This has been a topic for the whole day,” Woods said in an Instagram video ahead of Game 3. “What am I going to do since Trump banned the bags? Now, I might have just did the ultimate girlboss thing and turned my bag into a shoe for the day. I’m going to see if I can find a way to get Karl to get the bag in. But if not, we have some shoes.”

Jordyn Woods and her orange clutch returned for Game 4, which ended with a history-making win for the Knicks

The Knicks ultimately lost Game 3, leading many to joke about the bag’s absence, but came roaring back with a vengeance in the back half of Game 4. For the latter showdown, Woods and her beloved bag were indeed in the building.

How to buy Jordyn Woods’s “lucky” bag

The bag, formally known as the Tux Clutch Mini, is from Woods’s own line. It’s available for preorder now, with shipping expected by the middle of August. The $125 clutch is available in multiple color options, including the one you’ve seen at Knicks games—dubbed “summer citrus”—and two others. The exterior is made from faux ostrich leather, while the inside of the bag uses faux suede.

If everyone in the world ends up with one of these bags, then perhaps the Knicks will continue to win, over and over and over again, forever.
