Stephen Curry and Under Armour have officially agreed to part ways, ending a partnership that spanned more than a decade.

According to a news release from the company, the Curry 13 shoe will be released in Feb. 2026, with additional colorways and apparel collections scheduled until Oct. 2026. Curry Brand—the standalone venture launched in 2020—will continue to operate independently, allowing Curry to sign with another retail partner. ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Curry is expected to be able to wear other brands over the next year.

"Under Armour believed in me early in my career and gave me the space to build something much bigger and more impactful than a shoe," Curry said in a statement. "I'll always be grateful for that."

"Curry Brand was created to change the game for good and over the past five years, we successfully changed the game for kids, for communities, and for basketball," the statement reads. "What Curry Brand stands for, what I stand for, and my commitment to that mission will never change, it's only growing stronger. I'm excited for a future that's focused on aggressive growth with a continued commitment to keep showing up for the next generation."

The announcement marks the end of a partnership that began in 2013, when Curry signed with Under Armour after leaving Nike.

"It's been an incredible privilege to work with Stephen, who as President of Curry Brand has been much more than an ambassador—he's become a thoughtful and strategic business leader," Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank said in a statement. "Together with our teammates, he helped build something rare: a brand with credibility, community impact, and product that performs at the highest level."

UPDATE (11/14): New details surrounding Curry's split from Under Armour have been revealed. According to Sole Retriever, Curry will retain the rights to his logo, trademark, and brand as part of his separation agreement with Under Armour. Check back soon for additional updates.
