Charles Barkley got the cold shoulder and a round of deflated red balloons from a group of women in San Antonio.

The sports commentator and retired NBA player played a special version of 'Pop the Balloon' on NBA on TNT this week. But after stepping into the room, all but one of the women popped their balloon, catching Barkley off guard. "We have the person who loves San Antonio the most! Well, we'll see..." Kenny Smith, who acted as the host of the segment, joked.

After flinching from the popped balloons, Barkley said, "Wow. That was rude!"

"You believe stuff you hear on television?" he asked the first woman, who responded, "Yes, I do."

The next woman didn't consider herself a "fan of churros," but she heard that Barkley likes to "wolf them down."

"I do. You've got to get them with the caramel sauce," Barkley recommended.

The third woman, Lana, said that she wanted a burlier man and asked if Shaquille O'Neal was "available." "Shaq ain't got no muscles, number one," Barkley joked. "Shaq just big."

Another woman roasted Barkley about not having any championship rings while another wasn't fond of his golf swing. "That's a low blow," he told the latter woman. "I'm sensitive about my golf swing."

Once Barkley got to Taylor, the woman said that while he has a "great sense of humor," she doesn't consider herself "attracted" to the Inside the NBA host. "Listen, when you get older you're gonna be looking for personality, a bank account... Things like that," Barkley told Taylor.

Barkley finally landed on the last woman, who was defensive of her hometown of San Antonio. "You can pop it again if you'd like," Smith suggested, attempting to give the woman her deflated balloon.

No such luck for Sir Charles after he declared that the city has "some big bitches" during the 2025 NCAA March Madness Festival on Sunday (April 6). Maybe he'll have a second round when Pop the Balloon comes to Netflix.
