Charles Barkley has made it clear he will never stop hating on San Antonio.

During his appearance at the 2025 NCAA March Madness Festival in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday, April 6, the Inside the NBA host spoke directly to the crowd. He was initially met with boos, but gradually won over more of the crowd as he told them he thought San Antonio is a "great city." He even offered praise for the San Antonio Spurs and the team's head coach, Gregg Popovich. But then he wrapped it all up by revisiting his long-standing tradition of joking about the city's women.

"Yes, y'all got some big bitches here," he said in a moment that was met with cheers from some of the crowd as well as some boos.

Those familiar with Barkley will know that he loves to joke about San Antonio's women. In fact, one fan sought to document every known roast Barkley had for the city on TV and the resulting compliation is over 40 minutes long.

In 2021, he indicated that he was told to cut out the jokes on Inside the NBA after keeping the jokes running for years.

"They won't even let me talk about San Antonio anymore," he said on the Grant & Danny show in 2021, per TMZ. "They're like, 'Charles, we got one lady wrote an article.' I'm like first of all, I didn't call anybody PERSONALLY fat in San Antonio. I was just joking around and when this one lady wrote this article ... we've been having fun with this for probably 10, 15 years. ... You can't even have fun nowadays without these jackasses trying to get you canceled and things like that."
