Fresh off mercifully honoring a longstanding fan request to bring Take Off Your Pants and Jacket bonus tracks to streaming for the first time, blink-182 is further celebrating the legacy of their history-making 2001 album, and of the band itself, with an exclusive Complex LA pop-up experience.

With its debut atop the Billboard 200 a quarter of a century ago, the trio’s 2001 classic became the first punk album to hit No. 1 on the chart. Produced by the late Jerry Finn, who also helmed 1999’s Enema of the State and 2003’s untitled magnum opus (not to mention Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker’s lone Box Car Racer project in 2002), the impact TOYPAJ had on future generations of pop-punk is impossible to overstate.

That impact will be apparent at Complex LA’s pop-up, the launch of which fittingly coincides with the 182nd day of the year. Below, we break down what you need to know.

blink-182 Day commemorated with exclusive Complex LA pop-up f/ limited-edition merch

The Southern California-based trio of Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker has soundtracked the lives of generations of fans. Their most recent full-length, spurred by the group’s second reunion with founding member DeLonge, became their third Billboard 200 chart-topper in 2023. Titled One More Time…, the album opened with “Anthem Part 3,” marking a narrative continuation of TOYPAJ opener “Anthem Part Two.”

Both eras, and more, will be well-represented at the Complex LA pop-up. Fans can expect a fully blink-ified experience, complete with limited-edition merch.

Fans can expect jackets, tees, trucker hats, vinyl, CDs, and more. Some pieces, including “First Date”-themed patches and a tracklist hoodie, are exclusive to the pop-up.

When and where is the blink-182 Day pop-up?

The pop-up, located at 433 N Fairfax Ave, will be open from Wednesday through Friday starting July 1 at 11 a.m. local time and running through July 3. For all three days, fans will have the opportunity to ring in blink-182 Day until 7:00 p.m. local time.
