For their Coachella set this weekend, Clipse’s Pusha T and Malice enlisted the repeatedly proven behind-the-kit prowess of none other than Travis Barker.

The stylistically versatile blink-182 drummer, also known for his extensive production credits (including for mgk and Yellowcard), added live drums to the Grammy-winning Virginia duo’s set on Sunday (April 12). Opening the set was “Chains & Whips,” a song from last year’s widely acclaimed Let God Sort Em Out album.

Barker stayed behind the kit for three more songs, including two additional LGSEO tracks (“P.O.V.” and “Inglorious Bastards”) and their 2009 Til the Casket Drops single “Popular Demand (Popeyes).”

“[Travis Barker] smoked our set,” Push wrote on Instagram when sharing clips from Sunday’s set, later adding that the influential blink drummer was “killing shit.”

Malice also celebrated the moment on IG, writing “Get ya ROCK and roll!” when sharing footage of Barker adding some flourishes to “Chains & Whips.”

Barker’s blink and Box Car Racer collaborator Tom DeLonge was also spotted taking in the first weekend of Coachella’s 2026 edition, though, sadly, he was not brought out as a special guest during any artist’s set. While we wait to see if this is remedied for the festival’s second weekend, those taking it all in from home can get their stolen valor on by shopping official Coachella merch here.

Blink, at the time newly reunited with DeLonge, previously took the Coachella stage back in 2023, with the widely celebrated pair of performances followed several months later by the release of the trio’s One More Time… album. The project, produced by Barker, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming the band’s third album to achieve this feat. Their 2001 album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, helmed by the late Jerry Finn, is often cited as the first punk album to ever top the chart.
