Travis Kelce has shared how it feels for his fiancée, Taylor Swift, to soon be known as Mrs. Kelce.
One week after announcing their engagement, Kelce gushed over his future wife during the Wednesday (September 3) episode of podcast New Heights. To open the episode, Kelce's older brother, former professional football player Jason Kelce, checked in to see how the athlete's last week has been following his proposal to Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end began by thanking those who've seen congratulatory messages and "excitement."
"It's been really fun telling everybody who I'm going to be spending the rest of my life with," he continued.
Kelce also reflected on introducing Swift as his wife at the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Cincinnati Bearcats game on August 28, just two days after revealing their engagement.
After his brother suggested that calling Swift a fiancée probably felt "way more official," Kelce agreed, saying that he "felt that at the game."
"It was my first time introducing Taylor as my fiancée to a few of my teammates," Kelce said, adding that it was "pretty cool."
The athlete also admitted that he's become "giddy" over popping the question to Swift and that it's "exciting times" for him.
Kelce then extended advice to men who want to fulfill their partner's dream proposal. "Man, you got to know your gal," he said. "You got to know your gal or your significant other. You've got to know them. You can't let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way."
Elsewhere, Kelce said that it's been "so much fun" to hear the buzz around the engagement, which he called "seeing the internet go crazy." And the internet has gone wild over the couple, from Swifties reacting excitedly on TikTok to the singer's Ralph Lauren-designed engagement dress selling out immediately after the Instagram post.
