Sherrone Moore might have been fired from the University of Michigan, but his alleged mistress reportedly still works at the institution.
According to TMZ Sports, the woman remains an employee of the university's athletic department, although Moore, the former head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, was terminated from his position earlier this week.
A school investigation was conducted regarding the alleged relationship, with the university later stating that "credible evidence" showed that Moore, who is married, and the woman were having an affair. The woman, whose identity has not been publicly revealed, is said to have been an "executive assistant to the head coach."
"This conduct constitutes a clear violation of University policy, and U-M maintains zero tolerance for such behavior," the statement read.
Moore was named permanent head coach of the Wolverines last January and made close to $5.6 million in an annual base salary and additional compensation, according to The Athletic.
On Wednesday (December 10), not long after his firing, Ann Arbor authorities were called to the home of a university employee and Moore was arrested for allegedly stalking and terrorizing the female resident.
It has not been revealed whether the victim was the woman that Moore was claimed to be having an affair with. The athletic coach, who was released on a $25,000 bond, now faces charges of stalking, home invasion and breaking and entering.
According to ESPN, Moore allegedly threatened to harm himself in front of the victim. Prosecutors claim he said: "I'm going to kill myself. I'm going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life."
While on bond, Moore must adhere to conditions including taking a mental health evaluation, GPS monitoring, surrendering his passport and having no contact with the woman he allegedly stalked.
The former Wolverines coach has been married to Kelli Moore since July 2015 and the couple share three children. Stepping in for Moore as interim head coach of the school's football team is associate head coach, Biff Poggi.
