Cam’ron toasted Stefon Diggs on receiving a not guilty verdict for misdemeanor assault and felony strangulation on the new episode of It Is What It Is.
On Tuesday (May 5), a jury found the former New England Patriots player not guilty for the alleged assault of his former personal chef, Jamila Adams, who claimed to have had a sexual relationship with the athlete.
The following day, Cam’ron commended Diggs on It Is What It Is, declaring “City Boys up 200” around the 25-minute mark of the video below.
“Congrats Stefon Diggs,” Cam’ron said. “I'm happy that you didn't get indicted for this. Well, rather have to get found guilty of this shit because you obviously had footage and proof.”
Cam added that he didn’t want to be “insensitive” to Adams and that he hadn’t did the “homework” on the alleged incident.
“My bad, City Girls, if y'all felt like y'all got played in the scenario. But I don't know too much about it,” Cam continued. “So, I just ended with City Boys up 200 ‘cause he won the case and I seen a girl twerking after this was supposed to have happened. If somebody suffocated me…I’m not getting up twerking.”
The video that Cam’ron was referring to was of Adams dancing after being allegedly assaulted by the NFL star.
“I don’t want to fuck you no more, just be my chef,” Cam added.
“Yo, and handle all these bitches that's going to be coming through,” he joked. And yo, Cardi coming over. You know what she like? Taco Tuesday, n***a.”
Diggs welcomed a son with the Am I the Drama? rapper last November, one month before Adams claimed to have been physically assaulted by the athlete. The chef alleged that Diggs hit her in the face before putting her in a headlock over a payment dispute last year. During the short trial, Adams evaded questions about demanding $5.5 million from Diggs, and the defense team argued a lack of medical records along with documented proof of injuries.
