Rumors linking Stefon Diggs and Taylor Frankie Paul took off across social media this week after a photo claiming to show the two together in Utah racked up more than a million views.
The only problem: the image is fake.
According to Rolling Out, the viral post originated from an X account called Football Crave, which identifies itself as a parody account. The page shared what appeared to be a candid photo of Diggs and Paul in Provo, Utah, fueling speculation that the two had quietly started dating following recent public breakups and controversies.
The original photo of Diggs dates back to a 2023 photoshoot in Paris. In the manipulated version, his image was edited and placed into an entirely different setting alongside Paul.
No reputable outlet has reported that Diggs and Paul have met, and neither has publicly commented on the rumor.
Diggs has remained in the spotlight since the end of his relationship with Cardi B. The pair went public in 2025 and welcomed a son later that year before reportedly splitting after the 2026 Super Bowl.
Paul, meanwhile, has faced a very different kind of attention. Her planned season of The Bachelorette was pulled just days before its premiere after a 2023 video resurfaced showing a domestic dispute involving her former boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
The footage, which had not previously been public, showed Paul throwing chairs during an argument while Mortensen could be heard saying, “This is called physical abuse.”
The fallout from that video has continued to grow. ABC shelved the season entirely, production on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was paused, and Mortensen later sought a protective order and custody of the couple’s child.
Paul’s representative has denied the claims against her and previously described Mortensen’s actions as “a never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign.”
