Jake Paul joined his brother Logan for a look back on his fight with Anthony Joshua last week.
When asked about why he got knocked out, Paul said it was "mental."
"He was imposing his will on me and being massive, and the big shots landing, it goes downhill from there," Paul said on the Impaulsive podcast.
He was also quizzed about what he would have done differently. "I wish I had more than three weeks to prepare, put on more muscle," he explained. "Sit there and hit him. I should have gone to altitude to train, that was my biggest mistake. I felt good about it [the camp], I needed that extra level of cardio for this, and that can only come from going to altitude."
Joshua knocked Paul out in the sixth round on Friday, and broke his jaw in two separate places. When asked if Joshua's "power" surprised him, Paul said "no."
"He surprised my jaw," he clarified.
Despite the ugly loss, Paul appears to be taking it all in stride.
"It's a great experience overall to be in there with somebody that's that good, I learned a lot, I see where I could've done better," he said. "I'm a little disappointed but I see how good he is."
