Sophie Rain is counting her losses after betting big on Jake Paul's fight.

The 21-year-old OnlyFans creator reacted to Jake’s defeat to Anthony Joshua on Friday (Dec. 19) with a post on her X account.

"I lost $500,000 betting jake paul to win tonight's fight. time to go make a new OF video," she joked on Saturday.

Jake Paul was defeated by Anthony Joshua in the sixth round of their eight-round bout at Miami's Kaseya Center, which was streamed live on Netflix.

Leading up to the fight, Paul had hyped the matchup in an interview with BBC Sports, claiming he would beat Joshua in a "biblical" bout, as if "reimagining David beating Goliath," but the fight ended with Joshua stopping him and leaving Paul with a severe jaw injury.

Paul later updated fans on X, writing, "Just got out of surgery. Everything went smooth. Thanks for all the love. Lots of pain and stiffness. Gotta eat liquids for 7 days. S/o to the amazing team at Miami University hospital. Everyone was so gracious and caring. @ArmaniiJayy took amazing care of me with @iam_loriv."

Despite Paul’s defeat, it’s unlikely Rain’s losing bet will leave her in financial ruin.

In a post shared to X last month, Rain responded to a post comparing her alleged 2024 OnlyFans earnings of $43 million to LeBron James’ reported 2024-2025 salary of $48.7 million.

“did i beat him this year? $52M 👀,” she wrote.

In 2024, Rain made headlines after alleging that her top spender sent $4.7 million over an 11-month span.
