Jake Paul has found some humor in being knocked out by his opponent, Anthony Joshua, following their much-talked-about boxing match.

The boxer and YouTuber was defeated in the sixth round, which took place on Friday (December 19) at Miami's Kaseya Center and aired exclusively on Netflix.

The match was originally scheduled for eight rounds, and ahead of the event, Paul's threats towards Joshua were venomous. In an interview with BBC Sports, the athlete claimed he'd beat heavyweight Joshua in a "biblical" bout, as if "reimagining David beating Goliath."

But the match had a different outcome, with Paul being beaten so badly by Joshua that his jaw was injured. In an Instagram reel posted after the match, Jake was joined by his older brother, Logan Paul, in a hospital room. "I'm a little fucked up, but will you take care of me forever and ever?" said the soundbite, as mimicked by Jake.

"Broken jaw guys thanks for all the support I’m ok 👍🏽," the post's caption read.

Another IG post showed a gruesome X-ray of the jaw injury, while Jake captioned that he'd be ready to step in the ring with Mexican boxer Canelo Álvarez in less than two weeks.

"Double broken jaw. Give me Canelo in 10 days," he captioned the post.

In a follow-up post on X, Paul updated fans on how his post-fight jaw surgery went.

"Just got out of surgery. Everything went smooth. Thanks for all the love. Lots of pain and stiffness," he wrote. "Gotta eat liquids for 7 days S/o to the amazing team at Miami University hospital. Everyone was so gracious and caring. @ArmaniiJayy took amazing care of me with @iam_loriv."

Paul also accused boxing officials of rigging the match, but in a post-fight interview, Joshua said he was ready to spar again, this time with another heavyweight.

"If Tyson Fury is as serious as he thinks he is, and he wants to put down his Twitter fingers and come and fight one of the realist fighters out there, let’s see you in the ring," Joshua said, according to Fox Sports.
