Pharrell and Louis Vuitton have unveiled a new sneaker from their Spring/Summer 2027 collection at Paris Fashion Week, and it’s caught the attention of another sneaker brand.
Previewed by both Skateboard P and the French fashion house is the Louis Vuitton Combi, which has a striking resemblance to the classic Vans Authentic. Vans even chimed in on Instagram, commenting “ohhhh bet” on the initial post of the sneaker from Pharrell’s @Skateboard Instagram account.
The Louis Vuitton Combi features a two-piece upper with stitching at the midfoot that connects both panels, much like the Vans Authentic. Sitting below is a tooling with a piping detail at the top and a raised section on the heel. The brand also previewed more colorways, including ones with snakeskin and croc-like uppers and LV monogram prints.
The Louis Vuitton Combi sneaker is expected to make its way to retail early next year, but concrete release details haven’t been announced.
