Abella Danger Shares Emotional Reaction to Miami Hurricanes Losing Championship Game: 'I Hate This'

"They're still winners," the 2026 AVN Awards nominee later said.

Abella Danger was moved to tears after the Miami Hurricanes’ loss against the Indiana Hoosiers on Monday (Jan. 19).

If you somehow missed the news, here’s what you need to know: Miami and Indiana faced off in the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship game, leading to Indiana securing a victory with a final score of 27-21.

“I came to every single home game this season, every single one,” Danger, a Brazzers ambassador and Miami student, said in an Instagram Stories update shortly before the team’s loss. “I went to two out of three playoff games, and then now I’m at the national championship. I feel so honored as a senior at University of Miami to witness my team go to the national championship in Miami that I’m so nervous that I feel like I’m gonna be sick.”

At one point, the 2026 AVN Awards nominee and retired performer was seen on the screen during Monday’s broadcast, clearly invested in what was happening on the field. She has also received attention in the past for her attendance at previous Hurricanes games.

“These amazing men are putting their all [into it],” she said in another IG Stories update. “They feel the weight of the world on their shoulders and they are the best of the best right now. It is so intense and I just have to say, I am so proud of them regardless of anything. So proud of these men. Iconic. I could never do it.”

Later, as fireworks rang out to commemorate the Hoosiers victory, Danger shared a tearful reaction to the game’s conclusion.

“I hate this,” she said, later adding in another IG update that Hurricanes players were “still winners” despite not securing the win.

“Everyone counted us out,” she said. “I don’t care if we lost. Those men out there, they are the best of the best and no one deserved that spot other than Miami. That was not a blowout. That was not an ass-whooping. Miami deserved. Down to the wire. I don’t care. The only reason I’m sad is for these players that worked their butt off all season. They’re still winners.”

In a follow-up post, Danger reiterated her love for the Hurricanes, letting fans know she would be walking into class on Tuesday morning with pride.

“I was born and raised in Miami,” she wrote, as seen below. “I went to South Miami Middle School five minutes from UM, where we all wore orange and green just like UM. I have dreamt of being a Hurricane since I was 10 years old. My love for the Canes is UNCONDITIONAL. I am and will always be a Hurricane and we WILL be back with a vengeance. Tomorrow l'm going to class with my head held so high because we made it to the Natty and 99 percent of schools did not.”

Danger wasn’t the only noteworthy attendee at Monday’s game. Lil Uzi Vert, who previously received a public invitation from Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza during a Broadcast Boys interview, was also on hand to witness the team’s victory.
